

Michael
McNabb – Chairman/CEO
Michael McNabb has a demonstrated record of achievement
as an entrepreneur, senior executive in a corporate
environment and as a senior partner in a management-consulting
firm. His experience includes managing the turnaround
of TVSN, the Australian home shopping channel; the
restructuring of the Asian operations of Bacardi Martini,
the international premium spirits company; and the
development of China’s leading management-consulting
resource. In addition to his management experience,
Michael has been actively involved in a number of
venture and early stage investments as a founder or
director. A graduate of Stanford University, he speaks
Mandarin Chinese and Tagalog.
John Pasmore - President
John Pasmore has been creating content across platforms
and managing media enterprises for more than a decade.
Before joining Voyage, John served as the Managing
Director of The Run Group, an experiential marketing
agency based in New York, creating custom on and off-line
activations for an array of marketing objectives serving
clients such as Anheuser Busch, Scion and Cingular/AT&T.
From 1995 to 2004, John partnered with Russell Simmons
of Def Jam Records to create Oneworld Media Inc. and
served as President of the Company. The company published
Oneworld magazine, which garnered awards for its art
direction and groundbreaking content, and secured
a lucrative co-production partnership with Hearst
Magazines.
John
created and served as Executive in Charge of Production
for Russell Simmons Oneworld Music Beat, a television
series that was co-produced with Warner Brothers Television,
and serves as Executive Producer of nContrast, a weekly
entertainment program that currently airs in more
than 15 million homes. John, 44, is married with one
child. He studied business administration at the State
University of New York and attended Columbia University’s
School of General Studies with a focus in English.
Battista
Remati – Network Creative Director/Executive
Producer
Battista Remati has more than 20 years of international
experience as a creative director, executive producer
and image-maker in film, television, advertising and
theater. Specializing in cinematography and art direction,
Battista was the creative force on more than 15 feature
films, including the critically acclaimed Palisades,
which won the Palm d’Or at Cannes in 1988. In
the 1990s he was Creative Director/Executive Producer
for myriad network television programs across Australia,
including Ground Zero, Australia’s first interactive
youth music program. In 1998 he became Creative Director
of TVSN, Australia’s premier shopping network,
where he was instrumental in overhauling production
and assisting with a successful IPO on the Australian
Stock Exchange. He then became TVSN’s General
Manager of Marketing and E-commerce, developing the
online shopping portal.
In
2000 Battista moved to Boston as Marketing Vice President
for Echolab. Battista has been the Creative Director/Executive
Producer of Voyage since its inception in 2002. Battista
is married with three children. He holds a bachelor’s
degree in design from Sydney College of the Arts;
an honors degree in marketing from Sydney University
and and a Masters degree theatre/film direction from
Melbourne University .
Tedd Evers – Chief
Revenue Officer
Tedd Evers is responsible for revenue strategy, retail
sales, endemic (travel) media sales and the monetization
of Voyage’s unique video programming. He has
more than 20 years of successful sales and marketing
experience, 10 of them in online travel. Most recently
he led the global hotel business at Barcelona-based
eDreams.com, a leading European online travel site.
Before that Tedd managed the global hotel chain partnerships
at Travelocity.com, where he orchestrated the launch
the Caribbean and European hotel product, as well
as media sales and merchandising for those regions.
He
was a member of the launch team of last-minute travel
start-up Site59.com, which was acquired by Travelocity
in 2002. After graduating with honors from Harvard,
Tedd played professional basketball in Germany and
has been traveling ever since, picking up bits of
German, Swahili, Italian, Indonesian and mostly Spanish
along the way. His passion for travel has taken him
to more than 60 countries on six continents.
Robert W. Harris – Chief Financial Officer
Robert Harris has a broad business background with
more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations,
content, venture fund-raising, legal, accounting and
marketing. He was Chief Financial and Administrative
Officer for Lime, a multimedia company covering healthier,
greener, and more balanced lifestyles. Lime had a
content and community Web site, cable network, VOD
programming online and on television and a radio channel
on Sirius satellite radio. Lime was sold to Gaiam
in 2007. He was Vice President of Finance and Administration
for About.com from its inception and took the company
through a successful initial public offering. As a
consultant he launched a pay television channel in
Turkey. He worked at Home Box Office, where, among
other new business development efforts he supervised
the day-to-day launch of HBO’s Latin American
HBO Ole service and created the business plans for
HBO Hungary. He previously worked for Paramount Pictures,
where he did corporate financial planning, special
projects and internal auditing. He also worked for
Paramount’s parent company, Gulf + Western,
and as a CPA.
Libbie Rice –
Vice President of Marketing
Libbie is responsible for marketing at Voyage. Before
joining Voyage, Libbie developed and ran the loyalty
marketing program for Eos Airlines, a start-up all-business-class
airline. Before Eos, she was Vice President of Customer
Relationship Management Planning and Development at
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and was responsible
for creating a customized guest experience through
unique offers and on-property events. Libbie was also
Director of Revenue Management Systems during her
tenure at Starwood. Her travel career began in Pricing
and Revenue Management at both American Airlines and
Delta Air Lines. At Delta Libbie was General Manager
of Revenue Management, where she was responsible for
setting the pricing strategy and seat optimization
for Delta’s transatlantic markets. Libbie holds
a master’s degree from the Johnson Graduate
School of Management at Cornell University and a bachelor’s
degree from University of California, Berkeley. Libbie
has lived in Belgium, Australia and Hong Kong, and
now currently resides in New York City with her husband
and two children.
Henry J. Watkins –
Vice President of Advertising Sales
Henry J. Watkins joined Voyage North America as Vice
President of Advertising Sales. He is responsible
for creating and implementing Voyage’s global
endemic advertising sales strategy. Henry has more
than 20 years of multimedia experience in print, promotions
and digital media. Before joining Voyage, Henry was
the International Travel Advertising Director for
Doubledown Media. Before that he was Associate Publisher
at Sherman’s Travel Media; Vice President of
business development for TV-One; Publisher of Savoy
Magazine; and National Advertising/Custom Publishing
Director of the DC Comics Division of Warner Bros.
Henry graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University
with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Josette Persson – Series Producer Signature
Programming
Josette Persson brings 10 years of television production
credits and expertise to the Voyage team. Her hands-on
experience includes in-field and in-studio production,
international features, and both live-to-tape and
live-to-air programming. Josette's experience includes
producing breaking stories for the ABC News Emmy Award–winning
Good Morning America. She was also on the launch team
for Universal Music Group's International Music Feed
network. Within a two-month deadline, Josette helped
launch the 24-hour television network featuring international
music from around the globe. During this time she
booked and produced interviews with high-profile music
artists in Tokyo, Stockholm, Helsinki and Reykjavik,
Iceland. Josette managed all aspects of the international
shoots, including budget management, international
crew and booking coordination, producing, writing,
conducting interviews and supervising post-production
sessions. Josette has a background in management consulting
from Accenture.
Ariane Marder – Executive Editor
Ariane Marder brings eight years of publishing experience
to her position as executive editor at Voyage. She
is responsible for all written content on the site
and copy provided to partnering outlets. She also
oversees quality control and manages resident editor
functions. Before Voyage, Ariane spent three years
as an associate editor at Men’s Fitness. She
has contributed lifestyle features to numerous publications,
including Zink, Spin and BlackBook.com; she was one
of the original writers of BlackBook.com’s Little
Black Book nightlife guides, where she worked to establish
voice and reviewed dozens of restaurants, bars, clubs
and hotels. Ariane graduated from New York University
in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree. Her first
book will be published by John Wiley & Sons in
January 2010.
Ben Roth – Commercial
Manager
Ben oversees all aspects of production for Hotel Video
Profiles to ensure satisfaction from initial contact
with each property through the development and implementation
of production itineraries, post-production and client
follow-up. Ben also controls the Voyage Licensing
Program, which provides usage of hotel footage to
partnering properties for their own external marketing
usage. Before joining Voyage, Ben worked for two years
as a Production Coordinator in short format advertising
for television, Internet and print outlets with premier
commercial production companies, including Radical
Media, Epoch Films and Moxie Pictures. He has three
years of sales experience as an Interactive Account
Executive for the Tribune Company. Ben graduated from
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with
a bachelor’s degree in communications.
